Experience Boat Ride In Varanasi

The Varanasi is famous for it's unique experience boat ride on ganges river. Your guide will take you to main ghat (Dasashmedh Ghat) where you will take a private boat. You will gently glide along th river passing by various ghats. Observe the activities and ritual taking place including devotees bathing in the holy river, priest performing ceremonies and people offering prayer. Your guide will point out the significant ghat such as Manikarnika Ghat, Dasashmedh Ghat, Raja Ghat, Harishchandra Ghat etc. You will do the boat ride for one hour between Manikarnika to Harishchandra Ghat.


Ganga Aarti (Evening Ceremony)


The Ganga Aarti usually takes place in the evening, just after sunset, at the Dashashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi. It is one of the most prominent and accessible ghats for tourists. The Aarti ceremony begins with the sound of conch shells, followed by chanting of Vedic hymns and mantras. The priests perform various rituals, waving incense sticks, camphor flames, and large oil lamps in a rhythmic and choreographed manner. you can witness the entire ceremony from the ghat or book a boat to get a closer view from the river. Both options offer a unique and memorable experience. The Aarti starts after the sun set at around 6:30 pm in the winter and 7:00 pm in the summer season .
